Fall Festival — $5010!!!!!!!  Because of the generosity of our families our only costs were for the t-shirts (474.920-90 shirts)

 

It was decided that we made enough profit to begin the beautification of our field!  Artificial turf was reviewed but because of temperatures, cost, our kids skin, we decided that we want grass.  We need to review the existing irrigation system.   We have a quote for .30/sq. for installed sod, less if we provide all the labor.

We need to make sure that we can sustain the funds to cover maintenance.  Ideas are to continue fundraising, field sponsorships, renting the field, other activities on the field.

Kathy mentioned that she will check with the Temple and they MAY share in the cost of sprinklers.

It was a unanimous vote to move forward with the field, a 30 x 60 youth soccer sized field, so we can show the families that their money is being used wisely.

1.  We need to update/get info for e-script, Target, Frys.  Michelle Sedivy had prepared something on this earlier.  Judy Hudek to pull all together.
2. Selling hot cocoa/coffee every other Friday morning.  Amy Sandys has her food license and can sell baked goods as well.  She is chairing this.
3. Business Book needs to be evaluated – Judy Hudek to work on.
4. Holiday Store – Jennifer Buehler to gather info.
5. Zoo Lights – Zoo lights to give our school a % of money brought in.  Scheduled for 12/13.  Jennifer Buehler to head up.
6. Jennifer Buehler is opening her home for a PTO Christmas White Elephant Party.  For room moms, other parent helpers, spouses and children on 12/14.
7. Big Auction Adult night – Jennifer Buehler to call Orange Tree and check on dates – 2/28 or 3/1
8. Another CPK, Mellow Mushroom, Chili’s, Jersey Mike’s event.  Joanna Hanson to head up this.
9. Potential 12/7 – Christmas/Farmer’s Market at our new field – ?
