Fall Festival – 11/5/2013

Our Fall Festival is right around the corner and the PTO is working like crazy to get this event ready.  It will be a fun evening of games, prizes, snacks, playing and bringing our community together to support our kids and school.

We will bring you more details as we get organized.  Remember this is really the 1st year for the PTO organization so we are new to this.  Any support, suggestions or help is certainly appreciated for this or any other event.  Feel free to contact us.  You can also touch base with your Classroom Parent as they are working closely with the board.

Each class will have a booth for fun and games – parents – we need help with prizes for your booth, time to work the booth, time to set up and tear down the booth.  Then we also need you to come to the Festival and play!  The class will also be offering a basket to the auction.  Each class has chosen a theme and needs some help to get that basket put together.

We will bring you details on ticket sales as the event comes closer.  We will have popcorn, snow cones, hot dogs, chips and drinks available for purchase that evening – so pack a healthy lunch that day!  Let this be their “go crazy” meal.

Family and friends are invited as well.  This would be a great opportunity to invite that friend that wants to learn about the school!

An email was sent out on 10/10/13 in the evening from SignupGenius so check that.  We would like to have a rough count for the attendance so we have enough food.  We are also asking for some support so check out the list and see what you can bring.  If you can’t do any shopping or would rather give some cash just contact a board member or your Classroom parent.  If you would rather just give time we will need lots of help with the set up and tear down, prepping the baskets, organizing the food and drinks and staffing the booths.
